The Clash of Love and Arrogance

Finding mercy and peace in our souls
Comes down to recognizing God's holy control.
Knowing God's sovereignty, we trust.
We do this because, as believers, we surely must.

Great is the faith that knows God provides.
In God's love, our truth willingly resides.
God provides all that we ever need.
In knowing and living this, we are freed.

They speak of love with arrogance
As they pretend their path of tolerance.
I look on with God's love and traces of pessimism
As they inculcate our youth into fascism.

This then is our only and best test,
Believing that God's commands are for the best.
However much the world feeds us to the lion's den,
We keep faith in God, and never surrender to sin.

This is our path leading to our salvation,
Not only ours but of every single nation.
Acceptance of God's truth in every single way,
Our repentance is found in the words that we pray.
