First Principles: Where An Excess of Power Prevails, No Person Is Safe As To Opinion, Person, Faculties or Possessions

“Where an excess of power prevails, property of no sort is duly respected. No man is safe in his opinions, his person, his faculties, or his possessions.” – James Madison (1792)

First Principles: Democracies Are Short Lived Before These Waste, Exhaust and Die By Their Own Hands

“Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself.” – John Adams

Incidentally, the US is not a Democracy.  It’s become that both major parties keep misstating this case over and over again.  The plain and very simple truth is our founding fathers were adamantly against democracy for the reasons cited in this quote.  The rule of democracy is the rule of the mob and as such leads to its own self destruction.  It makes me cringe every time I hear our political leaders misspeak on this.  It’s even enshrined in our much overlooked Constitution.

See Article 4, Section 4, Clause 1 of the US Constitution for verification of what I stated.

Revelations No. 2

Based in part on 1 Cor 15:24 :

Freedom Gospel Church - In the Shaprness of the Cross

Revelations No. 2
by Michael Romani

Caught up in the end days thundering
Lost up in speculation and wondering
We find ourselves looking for redemption
Seeking this out in our stark contemplation

That the righteous find the faith needed
In the lessons we've heard and are heeded
Walking in the final days before the keys
Of the Kingdom are handed over in ease

After a period of tumultuous ruin we approach
On the good things of life that we encroach
The moments of second Adam soon transcends
At our end days full circle from around the bend

All of the coming future is known from history
As it must be and will the ways of our legacy
Death will ride until defeated by the Lord
Proclaimed by shield and conquered by sword

The times that are coming truly must be
We must stand on the truth and divinity
Of all that is necessary to restore the kingdom
We must come to prepare for what will come

Our houses join together in service to the Lord
Shielded by the Word, Seekers draw their sword
Accepting no substitute for staying steadfast
The alpha and omega will remain first and last

I say this with a certain sense of true sorrow
There may not this chance come tomorrow
The time to accept our soul's sweet salvation
Walked in prayer until we reach our destination

Tapestry of Change and Joy

Based in part on 2 Cor.:

Freedom Gospel Church - Revelation Rising In Praise

Tapestry of Change and Joy
by Michael Romani

Praising our Lord and God in song and dance
Loving the happenstance of our second chance
Our God of second chances always there and willing
To bring our lives into accord and ever swelling

Loving the living of always giving and in our full joy
Serving God's people taken in love and not to annoy
But instead to anoint the lives around us with love
Sprinkling the gifts of salvation and hope from above

This is the day that our sweet Lord has given and made
Like a tapestry of change each day in passing display
Brings it changes, challenges and triumphs along our way
All of this to His greater glory lived in our everyday

Testifying the truth of faithfulness in our daily walk
Sometimes struggling but always trying to walk our talk
Praising His names in all of the facets like worthy jewels
Knowing reliance on our own wisdom humbles us as fools

I know this deeply as I crawl to my knees in prayer
Seeking shelter and healing in avoidance of death's stare
I need a strength that surpasses my own as I can barely breath
Believing in the truth of resurrection, I would not deceive

Realizing there are others in this world who need God more
I turn my focus again outward to all who need and implore
Dear God hold this world in your healing hands of sweet love
Make this world we've live in much more like that above

Holding fast to the Gospel preached we will be the doers
Unafraid of those who act as the world's shakers and movers
Ever pressing onward to always best fight the good fight
Burning bright into the world's night we act as guiding light

Living Memories of A Man Taking the Name of Chip Takacs

May you rest in peace, Mr. Michael Robert Taska!  Heaven has gained a mischieveous, wonderfully humored, good hearted musician for it’s honor guard band. While you walked among us, you made so many smile with happiness.

Always so ready with a nice gesture or kind word to all. Mahalo, brothe! I am sure that God has told you, “Well Done Good and Faithful Servant”. RIP May 12, 2019. This gentle but fun loving soul passed from our lives never to be replaced in the hearts and souls of so many of us.

Thank you for the memories, good times and compelling music! …. most important for the care that you gave so many of us….

Living Memories Memorial Garden - In Loving Memory of the Man Known as Chip Takacs

When standing at his gravesite in SL meant to be representative of the loving memories of so many us, I wrote him a little poem.  It doesn’t do the man justice, but all the same, here it is:

Live life as a prayer for the living
Always loving, ever forgiving
Sing your songs with full intention
Not one of contrivances of convention
Play your jokes with full and well meaning
You’ll be remembered as a human being
Worthy of love and beyond all compare
Who has lived a life with original flair
These are the things learned from you
I think you’d have loved this beautiful view
So until that day we meet again, my friend
I will keep in mind that this is not the end
Hoping to keep your life alive in memory
As a beautiful child in God’s beloved family

In the Suffering of Christ

Based on 1 Peter 2:21-25

Barddeco - Sharpened Cross Inside A Void

In the Suffering of Christ
by Michael Romani

Suffered for the cause of Holy Christ
It is the role that we my bear and live
Living to our best and to our finest
We suffer uncomplaining and forgive

We are saved by our Father's grace
With the ability and the power given us
As we accept the Lord's sweet embrace
And push forward and accept because

We are given to these days of our glory
Our salvation given us as the elect
It's part of the ongoing eternal story
Responding well when we want to reject

Everything we do is by taking on submission
Instead of raising our heads in vanity
Going out in our part in the Great Commission
The better part of this thing we call humanity

We follow the Way of the only perfect man
Jesus who walked as God among the least of us
Doing these things in humility best we can
Willingly fed to the lions and there just because

We keep our faith and confidence in The Way
Never denied our shepherd's gracious protection
We keep calm, God assured in our troubled days
This is something we should keep in introspection

Nothing happens outside God's atoning power
Everything we live is in His holy hands
Even in our times of solitary, darkened hour
Realized in our destitution disobeying His commands

We bow our heads humbly in our prayers
Climbing Jacob's ladders like these are stairs
In our hearts we keep our submission there
The chain breaker's truth keeps this all clear
